Click any day cell to manually set the crew size for that project on that day. Click Auto-Schedule to have the planner work backward from each project's ship date: a job only starts showing up on the calendar once it actually needs to in order to finish in time, so projects with plenty of lead time get staggered later instead of every job starting today. When two jobs are competing for the same days, the one with the least slack (least room left before it'd miss its date) gets priority. Total People/Day is treated as a soft target — the planner will go over it on specific days rather than let a job miss its ship date. Days that ended up over capacity show up as a negative (red) number in the DISCREPANCY row so you can see exactly where and by how much you're over-booked. A project can still show "Won't make ship date" if even its own Max Crew/Day isn't enough — that's a real capacity ceiling for that job, not a shop-wide limit, so raise its Max Crew or move its ship date. Lock a project (🔒) to freeze its plan before auto-scheduling everything else around it. Every change here saves automatically to the shared database as you make it — everyone signed in sees the same schedule. Admins can download a full backup any time from the Admin Center tab.
